No Rotary, No Football No Quiz  Life gets tedious don't it..... Cue song!!

At least I should have all the work in my garden sorted out this year.

What’s the big issue ? - try being at sea for 4 months !
It was Dr Johnson who famously stated the the life of a seaman was worse than that of the common prisoner - with the added peril of drowning ! All well here so far.

Excellent. We have 6 members signed up so far, so could be good if we get 80%of the club involved. Better if all join.

The Boss is writing a list of jobs. Already tidied up the front garden and ripped a load of ivy off some trees. Tomorrow a visit to B&Q is on the cards. Paint has been mentioned. I am not looking forward to the next few weeks. The television doesn’t give any relief with Boris on Sky and Chump on CNN, the Simpsons are beginning to look a fantastic alternative. Tried to volunteer as a delivery driver for meals on wheels but got refused. Over 70. Bernie got accepted. Hit for both ageism and sexism in one go.

Same here - I haven't been able to get onto the forum for a couple of days - we had new carpet laid in the hall yesterday morning, so today 8 doors needed trimming and then re hanging, 3 needed painting on the inside (wardrobe and airing cupboard). We we all be glad to get back to Rotary for a rest! I will set up a category for quiz questions, puzzles etc - I was pleased with myself at correctly answering a question on Round Britain Quiz today so I will see if I can post a sound clip - it was the music quaestion.
